1. The Original Double Wall Electric Kettle
If you’re looking for a stainless steel kettle, this is the best option out there. The double wall construction means that there’s no plastic touching the water, which makes for a safe and healthy drinking experience.
You can use this kettle to boil, heat up, and even make coffee. The exterior is also safe, as it doesn’t get hot enough to burn anyone. The stainless steel is easy to clean too, and it also saves energy compared to other kettles.
The only downside is that it’s a little bit bulky for travel, and you won’t be able to use it on campgrounds. But for the price, it’s worth it for its convenience and durability.
Tone: Casual
Review: This stainless steel kettle is perfect for camping or traveling. The double wall construction makes it safe and healthier than other options.
While other kettles may be cheap, they’re not safe, and they don’t perform as well. There’s nothing wrong with having a stainless steel kettle for your next camping trip.
- Large capacity
- Sleek and modernistic design
- Easy to use
- It is not recommended for people who like to cook a lot.
- Not recommended for use with high-pressure systems.
2. Electric Kettle By Cuisinart
This is a really nice kettle that takes advantage of the fact that the base is 360 degrees, so you can use the base to pour and move your tea while it brews.
As far as size goes, it’s big enough to fit a decent amount of loose tea leaves in there but still small enough to be portable.
I love the fact that the heat-up time is pretty quick too. Even with the lid on, it took about 25 seconds to reach full heat.
The steeping time is pretty good too, and it has a great indicator light to tell you when the water is ready for a second steep.
There are two buttons on the side of the handle to control the kettle, and one of them can be used to adjust the heat so that it’s not too hot or too cold.
The kettle has an on/off button too, which means that it won’t automatically turn itself on and off.
One of my favorite features of the kettle is that it has a 2-minute memory function, so it remembers where you left off brewing and keeps going until you turn it off.
- Cordless Kettle
- Stay-cool handle
- 1500 watts of heating power
- Not a cordless kettle; it needs to be plugged in.
3. Epica Stainless Steel Cordless Electric Kettle
The best electric kettle I’ve ever used. In fact, I was so impressed with the Epica kettle that I went and bought 4 more.
I’ve owned a few different electric kettles over the years, and the Epica 6-temperature kettle is the best I’ve ever used.
It boils water quickly, but it does so without a ton of noise or vibration. I really like that because I don’t want my neighbors to be startled every time I need to make a cup of coffee.
The Epica kettle is easy to program, too. If you press the button twice, you’ll go from boiling to keep warm, and once you’ve reached the desired temperature, the kettle will automatically turn off.
It has a sleek, modern design, and the handles are comfortable. You can find this kettle at most major retailers, and it’s available in black or stainless steel.
- Perfect for making tea or boiling water; great design; attractive color.
- Multi-functional buttons; convenient to operate.
- The temperature can be adjusted between 190°F – 212°F (88°C – 100°C).
- Small capacity; can only boil 1 cup of water at a time.
- Not suitable for cooking; the temperature cannot be controlled accurately.
- Not suitable for high-temperature water.
4. KRUPS Cool-Touch Electric Kettle
The KRUPS BW260850 is a great kettle that will meet your needs. Not only does it boil water fast, but it’s also pretty well-built, easy to clean, and has a comfortable handle.
The spout of the KRUPS BW260850 is removable, so you can take the whole thing apart for cleaning if needed.
You can control how much water it heats up, and it does a good job of keeping the water hot. I was able to get boiling water in under a minute and keep it heated for over 30 minutes.
The lid of the KRUPS BW260850 is also very easy to remove, and you can wash the entire piece with warm water, so there are no worries about leaving the water unattended in the pot.
It’s a little on the heavy side, but it’s worth it for the benefits of its stainless steel construction. Overall, it’s a reliable, well-designed kettle that’s a great value.
- Sleek and modernistic design
- Excellent build quality
- Comfortable to hold
- The lid does not shut securely
- The handle does not feel stable
5. Haden Heritage Electric Kettle
I bought this kettle as a Christmas gift for my husband. He loves his coffee and always wanted to try the electric kettles. This is actually a really nice model. It’s easy to operate and clean. There are a lot of features that I like about it, and a few I’d like to change.
First off, the lid is kind of small, so you have to be careful not to drop it. It also has a lot of plastic parts, which means you’ll have to be careful when cleaning it. The cord is short, but it still has enough length to make a lot of coffee, especially in a pinch.
Another feature I’d like to see is an audible alarm. Some of the other kettles I’ve seen had them, and it was great to hear that the water was boiling. It would be helpful if it had a sound that could wake me up if the water boiled over.
I’m also not a fan of how the LED indicator light is located on the base. It’s fine for the first few minutes, but after that, it’s hard to see at night. I’d prefer that it be on the spout or the handle instead of the base.
Overall, this is a really nice kettle. It does a good job of making coffee, and it’s also easy to clean and maintain. If you’re looking for a kettle with a lot of features but are worried about the price, this is a good choice.
- Comes with a digital display.
- Auto shut-off after 5 minutes.
- Boil dry protection; the kettle will automatically turn off when water runs out.
- Does not have an anti-slip handle.
- Has no temperature gauge.
Things to Consider Before Buying the best stainless steel electric kettle
When it comes to buying a kettle, it can be difficult to know what’s really important. This is especially true when you consider that there are so many different types and brands to choose from. So, to help you make the right choice, here are some things you’ll want to consider before buying.
Material
First, you’ll want to know what material the kettle is made of. As you’ll see, different materials have different qualities.
Plain stainless steel
Stainless steel kettles are by far the most popular type of kettle, and they’re also quite cheap.
However, while they are durable, they may not be as pretty as other types of kettles. So, if you’re looking for something to match your décor, it’s best to go with a stainless steel kettle.
Aluminum
Aluminum kettles are often a good choice for budget-conscious consumers. They are also quite lightweight and can be a bit less bulky than other types of kettles.
However, aluminum kettles are not as sturdy as stainless steel kettles, so they are not as well suited for use on the stovetop.
Glass
A glass kettle is probably the prettiest of all the options. They also make excellent gifts, so they’re a great choice for any special occasion.
However, glass kettles can break easily, and this is especially true for large models.
Ceramic
Ceramic kettles are often the most expensive of all the choices. But, for a nice, sturdy, and durable kettle, they can be worth the cost.
Also, ceramic kettles are incredibly easy to clean, and this makes them a smart choice for people who like to cook on the stovetop.
Stainless steel vs. aluminum
While stainless steel is the most common type of kettle, aluminum kettles are still a viable option for those who are on a budget or want something that is a bit smaller.
This is because, despite their size, aluminum kettles are not as heavy as stainless steel kettles.
In fact, some even claim that they’re lighter than stainless steel kettles.
So, when it comes to buying a kettle, you’ll want to consider your lifestyle, budget, and the types of food you cook.
Safety
As you’ll see, all types of kettles have their own unique pros and cons. So, when you’re choosing a kettle, you’ll want to make sure you’re buying one that’s safe to use.
For example, the temperature of the water you boil should be the first thing you look for. You’ll also want to be sure the kettle has safety features like a built-in water filter.
You’ll also want to check the lid and spout for leaks. And make sure the handle is securely attached to the kettle.
It has two temperature settings, a power indicator, a steam wand, a removable inner pot, and a lid with a steam vent. It’s perfect for making tea, coffee, hot chocolate, soup, and even broth.
The stainless steel exterior is durable and resists scratches and dents, so it will last for many years. The stainless steel design allows you to keep track of your water levels and the amount of water left in the inner pot, which will be important if you use the kettle frequently.
The handle and spout are made of stainless steel as well, which ensures that the kettle will stand up to regular use and will keep your hands from getting burnt when making hot drinks.
